A great way to proudly display your bnbfinder® membership is by adding and linking one of our company badges on your own website. Badges are often placed in the footer of your website, however, it is completely up to you where you decide to place your bnbfinder® badge.
Three Reasons Why Badges Are Important
-Search engines (like Google) look at “back links” as a ranking factor when determining organic placement in the search results. By linking to bnbfinder® from your website, it can help us achieve a higher ranking and therefore more visibility in the search engines so that we can send you more travelers.

-Lastly, in this process, we’d encourage you to examine the badges you already have on your website and be sure to eliminate any that are linking to older companies that may no longer be working toward your best interests. By linking out to some of those companies, you are inadvertently sending travelers to a resource that may not support direct bookings like bnbfinder® does.
How to Add Badges to Your Website
There are two ways to add a bnbfinder® badge to your website: using an HTML Code or manually uploading and linking the badge to bnbfinder®. We've included instructions for both methods below.
HTML Code
This method consists of taking the HTML code for the badge you'd like to use and adding it to your website's HTML code.
- Login to your Property Manager Account
- Once logged in, click on the 'Manage Your Properties' link (located at the top of the page)
- Click on the 'Profile' page.
- Click on the 'Badges' link - this will bring you to the 'Badges' page where you will see all of the different badge options available.
- Once you've decided which badge to use, click the "Copy Code" button below the badge you've chosen. This will copy the HTML code for that badge to your computer clipboard.
- Navigate to your website's editing page and paste the badge code just before the closing body of your website's HTML code.
- Save your edits and be sure to preview your website before you publish it.

Manually Upload bnbfinder® Badge
Some members may find it easier to simply upload the bnbfinder® badge image to their website and manually link the badge to the bnbfinder® website. Because website editors and builders all function a little differently, the instructions below may differ slightly based on the platform or website editor that you are using.
- Download and save the image for the bnbfinder® badge that you would like to use to your computer - see the bnbfinder® badge options below.
- Navigate to your website editor and upload/import the image to your website page.
- Once the image is uploaded to your page, confirm its placement on your page - most members will place the badge in the footer of their home page.
- Highlight or right-click on the badge image and look for an option on your website editor to add a "hot link" or "direct URL link" - this might also be shown as a chain icon.
- Enter the following website URL EXACTLY as you see it: https://www.bnbfinder.com/
- 'Save' your edits and be sure to preview your page before you publish it.
