A bed and breakfast, or B&B, is generally an independently operating, small, overnight lodging property that includes breakfast as part of the stay. Bed and breakfasts are also typically operated by a small staff including the owner/innkeeper.
A quality that often attracts travelers to bed and breakfast properties over other traditional lodging, is that they have fewer guests (compared to a hotel) which allows for a more serene, relaxing and personalized experience.
We believe that the market for unique experiences amongst travelers is as strong as ever. This is evidenced by the rise of companies like AirBnB and companies like Expedia spending billions of dollars to acquire HomeAway.
That said, we are making it our mission to bring professionally operating bed and breakfasts back to the forefront as we know that there's so much more offered by these properties than the vacation rental and AirBnB type lodging options.
